In a big city, known as metropolitan, there is an organization that runs many schools. I know a person who was the principal of one such school. He had an argument with the school's management. The matter reached court. The dispute went to court for settlement. The management removed the person from his seat as principal.  The matter then went to the court. During this time, I met this person. I did very sever hammering of this person. I told him to immediately go to the management and seek forgiveness. I told him put an end to the dispute in court and ask forgiveness from the management. I then told him that you have a master's degree. You must pursue your doctorate. You should forget whether the management would make you principal again or not. Instead of demanding that they make you principal again, seek forgiveness from them. Seek forgiveness. Put an end to your court case. Complete your education and get a doctorate degree.

He was a young man. He accepted my advice. He went to seek forgiveness from the management, put a stop to the court battle and engaged himself in studying further. The entire situation changed completely. The management reinstated him. This was the first benefit. I advised him to not leave his studies. I told him to continue his studies till he got his doctorate. Today he is the director of the entire group of institutions. When he was involved in fighting, his mind stopped working. This meant being part of a prolonged court battle, defame him, spread negative propaganda against him. This is all that was part of his mind. His mind stopped working. Satan entered his mind and taught him to spread evil propoganda about his opponents, speak ill of them and drag them to court. But the moment he made his mind positive, he realized that quarrelling had no benefit. Now the windows of his mind opened up. First he was reinstated as principal and then he got his degree.

Now he is the director and receives a far greater salary than before. His respect has grown. This helps us understand the hadith: When there is fighting and quarrelling, knowledge and wisdom are taken away. (Sahih al-Bukhari 2023) This happens because the mind stops working. The processes of the mind come to a halt.
