The Quran says: Copy Arabic text (4:128)

The Prophet's age also had problems such as oppression, injustice and atrocities. But the Quran says, "Adopt the peaceful approach." This is the right way. Don’t react or fight. You have to stay on the path of peace to work for your Islamic mission. The Quran says, "Adopt the peaceful method". Some think it was meant for previous times. They ask how to apply this teaching and demonstrate that it's good for today as it was for earlier times? The above teaching is a matter of law of nature, it is part of God's creation plan. Only the peaceful method produces results. The Prophet and his Companions adopted the peaceful course. They were able to gain results. We have to follow this course. What is the meaning of peaceful method? Even if others do oppression, injustice or inflict atrocities, you have to ignore and be patient. You have to avoid and remain peaceful. This is what the Prophet did. But this has not been applied to situations today. Quran commentaries are not written on this subject nor Muslims are given guidance on it. People think this teaching was meant for the Prophet's age. For example, we know about the Treaty of Hudaybiyah .I wrote that this Treaty was to unilaterally accept the conditions of the other party and remain peaceful. This would open opportunities for dawah and Islamic mission. People didn’t understand this. They said this Treaty was signed in the Prophet's times. It was meant only for the Prophet's age.  It is clear that the Prophet remained peaceful at the time of Hudaybiyah and unilaterally accepted the other party's conditions. This was only so that there could be peace between the two sides. After peace was established, dawah opportunities opened up. Then dawah work began and Islamic mission went ahead. This is the pattern given by the Quran.
