Many meetings and conferences of Muslims happen in India. We don't know if Muslims have ever organized any conference to discuss humanity-oriented issues. They generally do meetings to discuss Muslim issues, or instances of oppression on Muslims. 
All Muslim conferences discuss Muslim community issues, not issues facing mankind in general. This is an indication of Muslims having become a taker community. They are no more a giver community. This is no simple matter. It is an example of having double standards, lacking high thinking and the giving spirit. Lack of high thinking leads to lack of well-wishing for humanity. Moreover, this will result in absence of the desire to do dawah, or convey God's message to people. When you become selfish and see only your family, you will never develop dawah spirit. You will not be anxious to do dawah. Humanity will not be your concern. Your concern will be your children and your family. Only a person who has concern for all humanity can do dawah. The greatest loss after having double standards is that you cannot do dawah. Because humanity will no more be your concern. When you don't do dawah, your position as community of the Prophet Muhammad becomes doubtful. This is a very serious matter. You must think: without dawah, you cannot be a member of the Prophet's community. The trait of the community of the Prophet is: "We have made you a middle nation, so that you may act as witnesses for mankind, and the Messenger may be a witness for you." (2:143)

This means that you have to learn religion from the Prophet and convey it to the world. If you do not perform this task of dawah ilallah, your being a member of the Prophet's community becomes doubtful. If you develop double standards, you will end up losing your status as a member of the Prophet's community. This is something to reflect on.  You will not achieve success in this world. You will not have high thinking, academic or scientific bent of mind. Finally, your position as a member of the Prophet's community will become doubtful.
