The Quran says: "Surely in the remembrance of God hearts can find comfort." (13:28)
For true peace in this world, a person needs to live with conviction. He needs such a goal which is limitless and continues onward forever. Naturally, such a goal can only be God Almighty. 
The Quran tells us that when the Prophet reached the Cave of Thawr, enemies pursued him even there. The Prophet was accompanied by Abu Bakr. Seeing the enemies, Abu Bakr exclaimed: "They have reached here also with their swords!"
The Prophet replied: "Do not fear, God Almighty is with us." (Sahih al-Bukhari 3652)

There is God on the one hand and there is me on the other hand. If I stand with God, I am not alone. If I am without God, I will be rendered lonely. We need to live with an awareness of God. A person who knows this secret will find peace, satisfaction and conviction. He will be safe from the general malaise of tension and stress that affects people. This is the greatest formula of de-stressing oneself. This is what truly makes us human beings.
