Once I was addressing a group. According to the information I had, this group was involved in an unhealthy practice. I advised them to abandon this practice. A member of that group reacted to it and said: "Aap to naraz ho gaye." (You became angry). I said: "I have not become angry, rather I have only pointed out an unwanted practice that you are engaged in. Anger is a negative response from someone.

On the other hand, what I did was to give you a healthy advice only so that you could correct yourself."

For everything there is a negative term and a positive term. If you use the negative term, your mind will become negative. And, if you use a positive term, your mind will become positive.

[Highlight1]

When you pass a remark against someone, it affects your thinking process. If you adopt negative terms to express your feelings, it will activate your mind in the negative direction, it will, either consciously or unconsciously, start a negative process in your mind. But, if you express your views in positive terms, then it will affect your mind in a positive sense. It will start a positive process in your thinking.

Man is a speaking animal. When a person speaks, he first of all addresses himself. His voice first reaches his own self and it then reaches others. Every speaker first addresses himself and then others. Therefore, it is important for every man and woman to think what kind of signal they are giving to themselves, or what kind of signal they are giving to their mind. Whether the other person gets affected by him or not, surely he himself gets affected by what he says. In such a situation, every person should be very cautious while expressing himself. Because, whether or not others get affected by him, he certainly gets affected by what he says.
